about

Finally made it to Los Angeles after going all over the East, South and Southwest. I recorded this version of Paradise, an old John Prine song. I had heard it for the first time on a Johnny Cash album I listened to during the visit to Atlanta. I got to Pasadena and my old family friend Bob Pavich wanted to record a song for his friend's 60th birthday. It turned out the same song that had struck me in Atlanta. Bob was also I think the first live musician that I ever saw play. He used to play songs for me in my living room when I was a small child.
